Rear wheel carrier ?

Anyone know of a supplier of an axel and bearing Assy to weld on to a home made wheel carrier or what else have you used?

getting a shaft turned up to suit a trailer bearing sems to be the one of choice, cheap readily available bearing set ;)

It's got me beat why people have to have a set of bearings in a wheel carrier. It only has to rotate a very small amount, a bush is the way to go I recon... simple, strong and long lasting....but what would I know...

trailerparts.net is the way to go.

Bearings are better than using bushes in my opinion, and for the price, why wouldn't you?

I picked up my gear for under $50. Flangeless hub, bearings, split pin, seal and bearing cap.

You might save a few dollars using a bush, but in the scheme of things, what's a few dollars?
