anyone have a GU ARB bar with lightforce lights installed?
im considering options for mine but id like to see some pics of others if possible..
looking at the XGTs or the new ones they are supposedly bringing out soon..
i think the 240blitz are a little too big.
also dont want the lights to stick out front of the bar due to the type of driving i do
anyone??

jtop, i've got the 240's on mine. They stick out maybe 1/4" out the front, but a lot less than the winch fairlead.
Mind you it's doesn't stick as far out as the upright parts of the bar.
Does that make sense ?

when i had an ARB deluxe bar, i had the XGT's and just stuck out a little bit nothing to be concerned about I hit a few things and due to the construction of the lights they withstood the punishment.
Like other said, your winch fair lead will stick out more.

Howdy j-top,
Was gettin a bit warm in the shed workin on the race truck and came inside to surf the net and found this thread.
I have some pics of my GU with a AHB bar and XGT's here goes.
Front/side on view,
Side on view,
And the amount of gap with them lined up properly,
If ya do buy a set then when ya get them pull the brackets off the bottom and turn them around, that will give you about 16mm of back space and pull them in like mine.
Mine are mounted in the holes in the bar that were put there by ARB for the IPF's
Hope this helps,
Steve.

thanks for the pics, its exactly what i was looking for.
could you measure how far back the holes are from the front of the bar?
mine came with IPFs originally and im assuming the owner got ARB to install them also (he bought the car brand new and took it to ARB the same day)

Ok will only be a rough measurement tho,
Will mesure from the centre of the mounting bolt in the light bracket to the front of the bar, be back in a bit!

Jeez that was harder than first thought!!!....and it's still bloody hot out there!
From the centre of the bolt to the front of the bar ( had a bit of flat steel against the front of the bar) i got 85mm. That is as close as i can get without pullin the lights off, and it's to hot for that!
Hope that helps,
Steve.

thanks for that,
i measured 80mm on the 2 holes i already have in my bar so i think they will fit very similar to yours ..
