Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i was wondering where to put a second battery as there is not enough room under the bonnet. it is a 3.4 toyota hilux 2004 petrol.
Would it be alright if i get the second battery put under the tray??
anyone got any suggestions???

Mine is mounted in the tray - same vehicle with same under bonnet space problem.
