Clutch crap'd itself on way home, anyone replace a clutch themselves before an if so a rating of difficulty on 1 to 10, list of tools i'll need an any things i need to watch out for, cheer any help would be great, im a strong believer of doing as much as possible myself before giving into a mechanic.

get a gregorys or similar and follow the procedure as listed. I find it quicker and easier to take the transfer off first, it only takes 15 minutes to get the transfer off and it makes the gearbox balance much more easily on the jack. drop the tail of it down to get access to the top bolts. you might need to disconnect the exhaust on petrol models if no flex joint in the exhaust. a transmission jack or a few strong mates will help. it is absolutely critical to NOT hang the gearbox off the input shaft at any stage. good luck.

Go buy a good clutch aligning tool and do not forget the bearing on the end of the input shaft that goes inside the clutch!
I ended up having to put my engine/gearbox in and out 3 times after the engine rebuild - joining back together is critical and prolly rates as 8/10.
I agree about taking the transfer off - makes it even easier then - 6/10...
Have fun! remember to get your flywheel machined!
