Have you read through the FAQ section on Shock Related Topics ??
I believe there are numerous reports on the Rancho Shocks in there

Only problem would be the valving - they are supposed to be the equivilent of the Rancho 9000's on the middle setting & a number of people have commented that all but the lowest settings on these are too hard for the light Feroza -
Personally I would spend the little extra ( lot extra

) & get the Adjustable RS9000x's if I was going Rancho's - otherwise I wouldn't bother with them.
Have you modified the Suspension much otherwise ?? If not - & dollars are an issue then I would stick to one of the Feroza Kit shocks from ARB or TJM - half decent shock & valved correctly for the Feroza's weight.
Just my $0.02 - Mike H.

I had the 9000s on my Feroza and I truly loved it! So did Leon when he still had his Feroza but unfortunately Leon's one started to leak fluid on the rear shocks.
To Ranchos credit they replaced it straight away with the 9000xs because the older 9000 series has been replaced by the XS. According to Leon these were to hard for the Feroza even on the softest setting.

Hey,
Have you looked into a TJM Series 2000 shock. Cheap at $116.00 and they give a total of three inches more travel...
I was looking at getting these shocks. The Ranchos are $195.00 each, big difference!
Dave.

Why not try Pro-Comp ES's.
There cheaper than Ranchos.
Quality is very good.

Hi Guys,
What Rod said, The 5000's were ok however the 9000's were to hard by far evan on setting number 1.
