a mate from work has offered me some rims off his pajero that are off a 88 model paj.
will they fit my 91 lux??

Offset - no. If they're genuine Mitsubishi rims, I think you'll reduce your track by more than 2 inches. If they're aftermarket rims, learn how to measure offset...
