what rims?

gday i have a set of cooper st's 285/75 33s what width rim would i have to use i have 7" now would these be ok?

yeah you can use them on a 7 or 8 inch rim as they are 11.2 inches wide, with that said cooper will have a minimum rim width and if you don't meet this pretty much any warranty work is void
