I just found an old stock Jbitz TB spacer.
Is there any benefit to fitting this to my Cherokee? From memory the spacers were designed to suit the bigger bore throttle bodies? Can I run the spacer if I still have a stock TB?

Thanks guys.

RIck.

waste of time i reckon. boring out the throttle body does actually show a marginal improvement.

I noticed absolutly nothing with the spacer. but yes should fit right on yours now.

the j bits one will suit a stock throttle body.. the only problem i can see is its green? is it? if you have it why not put it on. most of us have one.. even know we all dont know if it makes any differance...

Despite some (most?) considering it in the same class as hiclones and brock polarisers, there is a US Jeep mag review quite a while back. Something about the stock throttle body being short and at high flow the air bounced back off the manifold and disturbed the inflow. Supposedly the extra height reduced this? Maybe it provides extra power at 10000rpm ;)

I have a JBitz one fitted for years. I remember when it first went on I thought there was a little more power in 3rd or 4th on a long uphill near my place that I drive every morning...or maybe it was just the cool whistle noise you could sometimes hear. I can't hear anything now with all the other jeep noises.

Oh and I think I have the high horsepower version cos mine's red :)

Forgot your question - yes mine is stock and the TBS fits.
