Hi.
Looking at a 350 Chev Gq wagon.
It has a Desert Cooler Radiator and the standard cowl and Viscous setup.
How affective is this system, because i am plannig to do a body lift if i buy it.
How well does the AU Falcon Twin thermos work as a replacement setup from the above.
Cheers
Grant

EF twins kept our 400hp 351 clevo cool, even when it sat in a queue for 45mins at a school formal, we set it to run both fans all the time, low speed turned on with the key, high speed was switched with a thermo switch from a ford laser. %80 of the time it was on low speed.

How do they fit up to the radiator/ what do you attach them with ??
Thanks

I have a plate that fit's into the standard rad grooves at the bottom and the shroud bolt holes. It's for Au fans.
Let me know if ur keen- I have 2 sets of Au fans and the frame handy. 1 set was for mud running and 1 set for highway.

THe Au's are awesome.
They keep my 1UZ engined Rover with the standard Rover radiaitor happy and it puts out well over 500hp.
I run both mine off a controller and they both run at the same time.
When they're off the vehicles forward motion keeps everything in check.

the clevo has custom brakets.
have done a GQ aswell, it's hard to explain how it's mounted. I cut off all of the protruding mounts and make new ones. The GQ rad is slightly larger then the fans so some extra work is needed to extend the shrouding.
removing the rad and laying flat with the fans on top will explain alot.
