hey guys i purchased some 50mm blocks off ebay to go on my 97 single cab hilux.
is it as simple as me loosening the body mounts at equal stages jacking the body up putting the blocks in and bolting them up?
also what size bolts will i need? i know i need hi tensile bolts but apart from that im lost.
any advice/comments appreciated
also a question of 4" leaf spring lift, does that raise 2" from leaf's and 2" from extended shackles?

pull one of the body bolts out, measure it, add 50mm and you got the lenght of bolt u roughly need, round it up to the nearest bolt size availiable. bolt head size shoulb be about the same, doesnt matter if it bigger.
4" spring lift can be 2+2 or it can be 3"+1 or it can be all spring or all shackle if your crazy enough.
do u need 6" of lift?

loosen your steering shaft off at both ends, undo the hose clamps etc coming off your air box and radiator so the pipes can twist. your gear stick may need some attention after so it doesnt pop out of gear(i bent mine slightly to make it work, i think if you take the bottom boot out it may help also)your bullbar is goin to sit funny to your cab now also. think thats about it..... its pretty straight forward oh and Take all the bolts out down one side and add 50mm or Take them to a bolt shop and tell em you want 2 of each but 50mm longer. you want zinc coated 8.8 bolts and nyloc nuts to suit, pitch doesnt need to be the same as the originals

2" extended shackles will only give you 1" of lift. so either you want a 3" spring, or you want a 4" shackle. and you dont want a 4" shackle...
