Show us your rear bars. 75series

Post by Canyonero 4x4 »

Well the rear door is really sagging now so it's time to fab up some dual wheel carriers.
A mate suggested C-channel for the main bar, then i can sit my lights in the C to protect it, and build the carriers from that.
I'm not the best with a welder and only used stick, however I do know a few guys who can help me out in that dept.
Thinking bout a rear 1/4 chop as well.
So give as a look at your design and how you've mounted it.
Cheers in advance.

Cheers JK, PM sent.

I'm also after ideas on carrier designs. I plan to make 2 so the tyre needs to sit well either side and not in the middle.

I've removed the standard rack and pulled the bar off, I'll load some pictures up later tonight.

Heres a few of my rear bar, main section is C channel with RHS extending to the wheels under the chopped quarters. 10 bolts holding it on, nice and solid. Could easily build wheel carriers into it if you wanted.

Bump.

Come on, surely there's more out there than this? 70-whatever series. Or any series, I don't care. Just after ideas for bars and carriers.
