Something like a Racore or CAV set up with a sedement bowl?? Should be able to fit a truck set up in the fuel line before the high presure pump...

do you know of one available? Do you have one on your truck? The reason why i ask as i had a rough idle after the car was serviced approx 2000kms. All i did was change the fuel filter and it idled smoothly. I change my fuel filter every 10000 but i may have to do it every 5000kms.

Any truck parts supplier should be able to point you in the right direction. I don't have one on my Jack at the moment but will be looking into it in the future. CAV type setup have a water trap, and parts are easy to get. Even Repco may stock them. Would be worth checking with a diesel specialist for the correct filter setup for this aplication, but as long as it is on the inlet to the presure (HEUI) pump it should work OK.
With the CRAP diesel we get here i'm not surprised. My jack has only done 4500kms(new) and i'm gunna change the filter.......

Got my one from Berima Diesel. Only hassle is the spacer required to fit the longer filter pack - about 45mm.
