radius arm differences

From looking at some photos it appears there are two types of radius arms.
80 series arms have the bush fitted to the chassis end of the arm and a bolt passes through at 90 deg to the arm to attach the arm to the chassis.
Rangy arms have a threaded section on the end over which the bushes fit and the arm passes through a hole in the chassis mount.
Which of these two types of arm might offer the best flex, or for that matter any advantages of one over the other.

I think what is limiting is the size of the bushs at the axle end.
These are Disco2 arms and are a better setup

question is:
what is the dia of the bushes at axle end?
what is the distance from c-c of bushes at axle end?
what is the lenght of the arm from axle center to chassis mount center?
for nissan, toy and rover?
then you will have your answer....

nissan toyota and rover all have ythe same center to center length
ie- where it bolts to the chassis and the centerlinine of the diff
in my opinion the toy and late rover arms with the bush not the spigot bush one the other one works better in most situations ie- easier to fit for one thing
the nissan and early rover and buderra arms work well with less deflection for high speed impacts

what is the dia of the bushes at axle end? cruiser & Nissan are the same @ 60mm disco is 50mm
what is the distance from c-c of bushes at axle end? Nissan 240mm / toy 185mm / Disco 165mm
what is the length of the arm from axle center to chassis mount center? NFI
If you are looking for the best flex then the cruiser arms are the go with the bigger bush and closest bush centers allowing more flex IMO.

That theory makes sense, I thought though that the spicot ended arms might flex better, no reason for this thought just.....
The diff bushes being closer together is a good point I hadn't yet considered.
