Anybody know what the limits are of the diesel pump on a ZD30?
At what power level or flow would it give up the ghost?

no idea. not sure if you could even push the ZD30 hard enough to find out ;).
the VP44 pumps handles the 6(?) litre turbo diesels in the states so i think it will handle everything you can throw at it. the limits i think will be that you will need a pusher pump and finding bigger injectors + ecu mods.

I thought that might be the case with the pump.

Wonder how much the injectors can handle then, any idea?

when the turbo waste gate buggers up on the ZD30 turbo and it over boosts in excess of 40psi the pumps and injectors seem to keep up long enough to melt a piston or 2. I think that says that the pump and injector are good enough.

Thats one way to look at it i guess

An actual flow amount would be good just for reference tho

Contact Bosch and ask maybe?

Doubt you'd get an answer though as the Nissan VP44 for the Navara zd30 would probably be designed to nissan's specs.

I don't believe a VP44 to suit a 4cyl would be the same unit as used on a 6cyl.
