I wouldn't say crap. Drop the air pressure's down and they can hold their own. Rock's just not their strong point.

Pretty awesome all round weekend warrior's tyre I reckon.

I beg to differ, they wear ok onroad as they have a hard rubber compound hence why they aren't the best on rock. And aired right down they grip better on rock than alot of tyres, just not the best. Also I daily drive on them and I have no complaints about them onroad, no worse then my old maxxis buckshot mudders.

Grouse tyre, I loved mine, lasted ages too.

Great in mud and gravel/dirt roads, ok on rock sections and handle ok on the road.

I had the 36s with the 3 centre lugs and if you aired them up over 30psi the big side lugs didn't really touch the road that much, so it was pretty smooth driving for a cross ply.

Having said that I much prefer my new Trepadors both on and off road.

i've had em in 35 and 36 and still love em. i'n my opinion they're the perfect tyre for victorian conditions. they love clay rutty hills and shialy stuff but don't be scared to run low pressures. i run max of 12psi off road.

Arent you glad you asked....

"great on mud, shit in rock"

"great on rock, wear fast"

"Great wearing, best ever"

Too many variables to give you a serious answer.

If they DO, actually have about 90% tread I'd grab em.

But I can't fit 33's anyway

Not bad price. if they are going on a GQ, you'd be better with 34's, which measure closer to 35.. great tire too... just noisey and rough as guts for the first 2-4klms each day until the flat spots wear.
