Lockee's onto it - Awesome.

We can do HID kit for people who have Rallye 4000's already or we can do pre-fitted complete light kits as well with powder coated rings to suit wattage.

The higher the wattage the brighter the light output. 35w Hid is the equivilent of a 170w halogen globe and 55w is equal to about a 250w halogen. To put it into perspective most standard headlights are 55w halogen on low heam 60w halogen on high. The ideal colour range would be about 4500 to 5000k for light output. 6000k puts out a blue tinge and about 10% less lumens.
If you go to our web page www.hidrus.com.au you should be able to find the answers to most of your questions there, or feel free to pm or call me. 0427 209 885

Steve is onto it.

More watts = more light. Even at 80 watts = not much power, in fact less than any Halogen light - usually 100 watts.

Hi Ruff,
In reply. Generally you don't need to modify anything but it does depend on the car and lights. They are pretty much plug and play but there are exceptions. the kits come with full wiring looms for the h4 hi/lo and they are avaliable in halogen / Hid combos. pretty much whatever your after but we don't highly recomend halogen low / hid high because of the time delay in the heating of the hid high when you are waiting in the dark.
Our kits come with a 24month warranty (optional extended warranty also available) and are a 12/24 volt kit (most are only 12volt) and all our globes are guaranteed uv cut so the lenses don't turn yellow. All our ballasts feature a unique hot start which lets you turn the lights on and off as many times as you want without causing damage, and they feature a 7g shock resistance and are fully water and dust proof. (they are also small enough to fit in most spotlights incl xgt's)
We are not affiliated with Jet-6 at all. His is his own business and his own group buy and they are not our kits.

Too white - almost blue.
Too small a point. I would love to try Euro lenses.
Really really really bright. But not always useable.
