Help Sought for Paj NH Headlight Wiring

Been trying to install spotties on my own, but can't figure out whether my 1922 NH Paj headlights are positive or negatively switched. Any advice on this would be much appreciated. (I've looked in the forums and elsewhere, but couldn't find anything specific to 92 NHs. It seems Mitsubishi does/did not keep the wiring consistent through the models!).
By the way, the manual said something that the electrical system is negative-earth, and not to connect positive-earth anytime. It that referring to the same point??

The only pos earth vehicle I have ever seen is an old landrover I once had. Every other car I've owned is neg earthed.
Setting up driving lights is not too hard, all you need to do is wire in an extra relay that is switched by the active that controls the high beam lights & to be fully compliant you also need a separate on/off swithc for the spotties. I actually used the factory switch that operates the rear fogs (I never used the fogs anyway) so when my driving lights are on I also get the lamp indicator on that you see in the dash.
I forget which one it is, but a wiring diagram should tell you, & if that fails then just get a multi meter from Super cheap & test the wires that go to the globes for the ones that gives 12v when the high beam is on.

For standard H4 globes high beam requires 12V across the two outer pins. Wire your relay across these two (with a switch in the circuit too) and it won't matter if your headlights use positive or negative switching.

Thanks for the suggestions above.
Fortunately, I managed to make it work. So for those who are interested, the Mitsubishi Pajero NH GLS 1992 Auto has headlights which are 'positive-switching'. This means that the spotlight relay cable is spliced onto the pass/high-beam wire; and the earth cable from the wiring loom (the secondary earth - the main earth cable from the 4-pole relay is still earth to bare metal) is earthed onto bare metal of the vehicle. (AFAIK the negative-switching arrangement would require this wiring loom earth cable to be connected to the negative contact.)
As for the +ve/-ve wires of the spotties - Lightforce told me it don't matter!! The dealer - an online 4x4 accessories business which is somewhat established - told me I had to check inside the light to know which was which!! Baloney.
Hope the above info is of some worth to other souls. Next: Battery Isolator!
