4Y upgrade

Anyone tell me what if any EFI motor will bolt straight into an 86 hilux DC with a 4Y aboard. 4Y runs well uses no oil nor blows smoke but it is a little rattly on start up. It quitens down when warm.

afaik there is an EFI version of the Y series. it might just be the 3Y, not sure if the 4Y came out with EFI.

I bolted a 3Sge into my hilux using a 4y bellhousing
but you will need to get a flywheel made up and the engine mounts from a 2s powered corona also you may ned to hit the fire wall a bit for the dissy to miss
it is a single cab and goes great it is heaps faster than a 3rz revs to 7500 it has 136 kw and get about 10l per hundred with 31s
very reliable been to cape york many times in it and have done 30000 no probs
running a snorkle and the plugs are really high plus the dissy is at the back all up very water proof
even got a/c and power steer working
turned a slug into a really good economical fast sporty truck

I seen a hilux on Ebay with a 4y with EFI and turbo the other day.
