New cylinders are about $50-$60. Clutch masters are a lot dearer about $220. I'd just replace the cylinder.

Cheaper to get new one, and the factory ones were brass/bronze sleeved anyway.

Do you have vacuum servo assist on the clutch? There is a bleed nipple (hope that word doesn't get censored  ) behind the fuel filter housing, that will need to be bled here as well.

You might need to adjust the pedal height at the pedal. there will be an adjustment you can make on the pushrod into the master cyclinder, from the footwell. If the new slave cylinder is slightly different dimensionally to the one you replaced, this will affect the clutch travel.
