Probably considering the Vitara has a wider trac than a bundy.

you're going to have to hack the shiat out of your firewall if you want to run that front diff in that position with 33 inch + tires on it

To answer your comments.....
Crossmember is the diff crossmember and it does hit so would need removing.
Vitara chassis is narrower than the bundy one. Arms were on the inside of the Bundy chassis.
As for the firewall, im just looking for solutions for a new build im planning. Just trying different options to see what is the easiest to modify.
I will post a new built thread soon once i make a decision. I do prefer Sierra's to Vitara's but, the front section of a Vitara chassis is looking promising. Just waiting for a SR20 and auto to arrive before i make my mind up.

Thanks for the info thats coming in. I am planning to cut down a 4door Vit and turn it into a flat deck. I thought seeing as I am going to that trouble, I might as well go a bit further and put in the SAS conversion. I already have a modified '92 2 door, but it still has the IFS in it. I won"t be starting this project till the new year, but am starting the planning and collecting parts etc. now. It seems that there are a couple of conversion kits available on the market and the Over Kill one is available in different levels of components. These kits will certainly save a lot of time fabricating brackets etc.
