A collegue has a Maverick with Duel fuel. He has great difficulty in filling the small petrol tank fitted durirng the conversion. It is a Very Slow procees as it always blows back and the petrol filler trigger has to be constantly stopped. It takes him 20 mins to fill the 45 litres when empty.
Any suggestions?

fit a larger fill tube between the tank and the fuel cap and make sure there are no kinks/tight bends in the fill tube.
I have seen several "custom" fuel tanks that dont work because of small filler tubes or because of poor installation ( kinked off ), as for the reason behind fitting smaller fill tubes I can never fathom out..... there's always room for a 2" fill tube.
Another problem may be in the actual tank design (internally), some makers have fitted baffle plates to counter fuel surge when off roading, invariably these baffles are either too large or are fitted to closely to the fuel inlet filler tube..... if this is the case then try placing a wooden block about 3 inches thick under the rear wheel on the filler side ( just drive up on it at the servo), this may help in determining whether its a tank prob or line prob.
