60 diffs under 75

hey fellas,

if any one could shed some light on what would be involved in putting 60 diffs under a 75 series, that would be fantastic.

i am beginning to research my next 4wd, which will be used mainly(90%) for play, i am thinking of running 35/36" boggers with only alot of guard chopping (including maybe re fabricating my own guards) no body lift, and absolutely nothing more than a 2 inch suspension lift, which as being leafs i will remove a few of the load bearing leafs.

i just would like to know what would be involved in putting the 60 diffs under it, as gaining the extra track width, (plus rubber and slightly offset wheels) should make it a bit more stable on those tight and steep situation you can get your self into.

i have done a bit of a search too, but couldn't find exactly the information i was after.

thanks guys

60 rear diff is easy, I have done it in mine, cut off original 60 spring mounts and weld on new ones at 70 spacing then simply bolt under with a 60 handbrake cable and drive away. Front is not so easy if staying SPUA as the spring will be where the diff pumpkin ends up. Better option for the front IMO is a Marks adaptors axel widening kit using hilux IFS hubs.

ok fair enough, some custom modifications could be good, or maybe just stick with chopping a 60 to a ute then...
