starter motor

hey guys is there a link on how to pull apart and recond a starter motor on a 1989 suzuki sierra cheers guys ive looked through the bible but cant seem to find andything

Its not really rocket science, but being in Katherine I'm guessing parts availabilty is not as good as here in Melbs.
WHy do you need to rebuild it? If its clicking when you are trying to start it search "clicky starter fix" and this will run you through how you can upgrade the wiring to the starter which in a lot of cases will fix your problem. Otherwise if you like mud its possble the starter solenoid is on its way out. THese can be replaced and an auto elec can probably track a solenoid down for you.

Solinoid is easy enough to fix.
pull it down, clean it up (give the plunger in the solinoid a coat of urathane paint) and perhaps a bit of dry lubricant, new drive gear (mail order) and some brushes (also mail order)
Look up the clicky starter fix as well (basically add in a relay to the purple wire that energises the solinoid)
