Outer Limits 4x4 Board

ok i was changing the pads in my 80s brakes today (1993) model.

once i put the new pads in it doesnt fit over the disc (as they ar thicker) i have pushed the pison back but they still dont go over>

is there 2 adjusting bolt that need to be wound out?

Just a idea have you pushed the 2 slides back where the bolts slide or you cant get the caliper on at all

Your rotors may have a lip on the edge of them stopping the pads from sliding in. If so get them machined or be a little rough and take the lip off gently with a grinder

My rotors have quite a pronounced lip on them. I use a soft hammer to get the calipers on.
