Hey Guys,
well it's come time to rust proof the rig again..been about 3 years! and the underside is looking quite worn...
now the old man used to have a big ass drum of tectal but after all the cashies he's done there's none left..

so looks like i'l have to buy a drum of an un decided product..
im either thinking of tectal, fish oil or stone gaurd!
although not sure if stone gaurd is a decent rust preventitive??
i'd also like the product to be black to keep everything nice looking!(Tectal is brown..eww)
that actually just got me thinking about the Rino Lining Spray,is that available to buy??

iv got all the appropriate spray gear etc to do the job and the knowlage to pull my truck apart, just need to knwo what people recommend!?

cheers

Mix tectal and black kill rust paint then it seem to dry and not be tacky like tectal

I actually prefer Ensis fluid because it is tacky. It mists well when using the correct tools, wicks everywhere and won't lift off like hardening types of protection. It softens on a hot day and reseals any openings from scratches etc. Doesn't look great though. I have a very dirty looking engine bay, but with no rust.

tectal no questions, no other brands just it... concept of mixing with black pain is interesting... problem just with over spray on paintwork i suppose..

couple of runs up a dirt raod normally fixes sticky tacky probs..

Cheers
