Oil filler/level plug removal

Can't get them out of the gearbox, transfer case or diffs in an 83 sierra.
I've tried flooding them with WD40 etc, whacking them with a mash hammer, and when I use a breaker bar on the hex head it just twists the allen key up.
The rear diff has a square male plug which was easily removed, but the rest have the female hex plugs.
Only thing else I can think of is to try heating them up but I don't have a gas torch.
Any ideas ?

Interesting. All the zooks (and parts) I've owned have had the 3/8in drive square fitting in them I think.

1.0's are different.
weld a nut to it, but if you don't have a torch you probably don't have a welder either.
A Bernz-o-matic torch isn't that expensive and is super useful, as you'll find.

Cheers guys, I've got a welder but didn't want to cover myself in spatter.
Ended up getting a gas torch with some MAPP gas.
After a few heat treatments and some persuasion with a hammer the inspection plugs finally came out, thanks.

another easy way is an allen key socket and rattle gun

Tried getting a rattle gun onto a sierra gearbox fill plug?
