i did a search on the ruf conversion and ifs rears but none of the pics are there anymore, maybe if anyone has pis of it stage by stage or full completed ones they can post up pics and maybe this replace the thread if no one else can get the pics in the bible section or something
Both mods etc are in the bible. its not as straight cut as it is made to be though lots of other things are needed to make it work properly and/or at all Like chopping the crap out of the front end if u redrill as well as ruf as you can see, x over or histeer steering, longer front shaft if redrilled.

Depends on your bumpstops/compression, best bet is banana extended shackles, solves the body mount issue.Weiner wrote:Do the shackles hit on the body mount brackets?
It flexs well, needs heaps longer shocks, its running 4inch lifted shocks as it sits now and bottoms them out without maxing shackle nor opening the springs much at all..
stock front springs = shortest (use for spares)
stock rear springs = longer (2 or 3 mains plus random arrangment from front other packs lieing around to make a suitable pack for rideheight/flex, for front, it will move the front diff foward 2 inchs or so, wedges will correct pinion angle.)
ifs rear springs = longest of the 3. ( drop a load bearer or 2, it might axle wrap depending on what motor etc the truck runs, use for back, it will move the rear diff back 2 inchs or so.)
falcon springs, trailgear etc etc longer again but more than some longer shackles are needed.
ifs springs in the front needs a moved spring mount, and i would go for something better if going to the trouble.
If you manage enough man herb to bolt the longer springs to stock shackles they'll bend leaves, carry on and just wont work haha
