lost power to accesories

radio and ciggarette lighter are gone on my 80, replaced fuses and still nothing.

Grab a test light or multimeter, pull the dash apart and check that you are getting power the plugs, to rule out problems with the radio itself.

So are you saying it had a blown fuse and you replaced it, then the new fuse blew again? Sounds like your cig lighter is coming apart, pretty common problem when you are pushing chargers in and out. See if you can get your hand behind the cig lighter and feel if its tight or coming apart. You might have to remove the facia panel to get to it. Probably find the retaining nut needs tightening up as a terminal is earthing out on something.slowLux wrote:
