do you have a spare hanging off the back? A large spare?
Large spare tyres flex the rear door hinges so the door dosnt mate properly with the frame.

I carry a 35" on my back door. ALL of my seals are crap in the GQ.
I run the air vents on full in the "fresh air" setting (not recirculating), which creates a positive pressure in the cabin, hence reducing the amount of dust ingress HEAPS.
After a full 3 day dusty trip, i have minimal dust in the car (i dont usually get anything in the back...). Usually most of the dust in the car is from winding the windows down during the day.

I dont think you can stop this short of welding the doors up.
I remember reading reports on the when they were new & they lest the dust in then.
It is a crapload better than my old Shorty 40 & my MK though. I could see daylight through the gaps on the rear doors on them

I have just fixed this problem in my shorty, I bought some self adhesive foam house door trim from Bunnings $30 10mtr. Its ment for sealing up the doors in your air cond house to save $$ eficiency. I stuck it on all the sealing surfaces around the back doors including the split between them.
