Went for a drive, and the old girl started making funny noises.Sounded like the starter motor, was stuck so i pulled over to have a look. And found the battery lead, has came loose and was shorting out on the starter case. :x so check your power leads as they can come loose

my old vn calais main earth to the block had never ever even had a bolt in it. For 15 years it had enough pressure against the black to not cause any issues then one day it had just worn down enough to not contact anymore lol.

We have had a truck in that had to have tens of thousands of dollars worth of ECU's and other circuitry replaced due to the link cable between the two batteries had corroded and were arc'ing out for a while, you could physically see several components on each of the boards had released theyre built-in smoke. Gotta be careful.

Had some work done on a 4runner I had and they forgot to tighten the earth from the block to the chassis. Used to just not start, took a bit of finding, you just don't think of those sort of things. Only found it when I grabbed it for some other reason.
