sas'd 4runner problems
Hey got a question for people that have done the sas conversion on their 4runners or ifs hilux.
I bought the trailgear ifs conversion kit and fitted it about 3months ago.
At cruiser park about 4weeks ago i snapped one of the studs off the top of the drivers side swivel hub and flogged the top bearing out. I fixed that and cheecked over the whole front end it was all good.
I went for a 4x4 saturday night and i noticed driving around today my front tyres where howling so i had a look and the wheel alignment was way out as both steeringarms ontop of the swivel hubs have come loose and snapped 1 stud off each side this time
Does anyone know why this would be happening?

I would say your studs are coming loose as they are maybe stretched a litlle dirt in there or not tight enough you need to make sure they are tight all the time. Check them before a wheel every time is good preventative medicine.
Did you put the magnum studs in? if not it may be time to do so and make sure you clean it good and locktite the suckers in.

They are available through locktup you just need to ask for a price they don't advertise a lot of what they can get.
