Hi people I own and drive a 1968 CJ 6 in the vic winch for the last 3 years this year we are competing in a couple of the engel series winch events. I have a couple of questions.
1. I have to make steel doors to be more compliant for the events we compete in ,I have got the doors under control but would like some help with the handles and hinges. !!!!
2. if any one in the world of jeeps would be able to offer any kind off sponser ship to support us and the sport we are open to offers . We have increasingly growing support from spectators and other drivers as we drive something different and do it with fun and determination. We are currently putting together a disk for promo. You can see our jeep on youtube under vicwinch 2008

IF YOU NORMALLY RUN THE SOFT DOORS CANT YOU JUST PLATE THEM UP.
Caps lok off....
There a steel frame so just rip off the vinyl and attatch a sheet of 3mm ally, Failing that jump on Ausjeepoffroad.com and put a wanted add for some hinges and stuff that you need.
Saw you at Vic winch few weeks back. Good weekend for you guys. Well done.

Re: jeep racing
Have you looked at Quadratec.com or any other US jeep part websites? They have heaps of bits available. The US websites are HUGE.Daggy wrote:Hi people I own and drive a 1968 CJ 6 in the vic winch for the last 3 years this year we are competing in a couple of the engel series winch events.
