Schroder valve

Can the schroder valves on the Auss shock coilovers be changed to the same as Fox shox?
I'm sick of using 2 different fitting. The Auss shock uses the old R12 air conditioner end which I have the fitting for but by the time you remove it you loose over 50% of the gas.
If the inner thread is the same on the Fox and Auss shox I would like to piss the old R12 setup off.
Has anyone done this or have a better idea?
Cheers Mick.

you can buy adaptors that fit over the schrader valves to convert to presta(i assume this would be the fitting on the auss shox...). cant remember how much, but i have ones that go onto my road bike so i can use the same pump for that as i do for my mountain bike without stuffing about

Thanks mate.
I might have to take one out and take it to a couple of bike shops and see how I go.

if the valves on the auss shocks are presta, then yeh $2 will buy you the adapter from presta to shraeder valve. any bike shop will have them.

I have no idea what they actually are.
All I know is the old R12 air conditioner fitting is whats required to fit the gas. I couldn't imagine there being to many different fitting though.

Thats the valve I want to fit the my auss shox but i'm not shaw if the inner threads of the shox are the same. I've just got my shox set for tuff truck and don't want to have to pull one out to check and have to go threw the same crap again trying to get the gas pressures right again.
If I can find the right fittings i'll be only to happy to rip the old ones off and fit the fox type. They are so much easier to gas up.
Cheers mick.
