ARB Compressor

Where is the best place to mount an ARB compressor in
a GU 4.2 inter. turbo engine bay with dual batts fitted.
Doesn't look like a lot of room.Done a heap of searchin'
but no luck. Were have you fitted yours??

Have you any room to mount pump under the front passenger seat leave solenoids in engine bay and run hose out through firewall. Pick up power supply inside cab.

what he said.. GQ was under drivers seat.

If mounting inside,possibly in side of draw cavity above rear wheel arch.
But would it get ecough air,sound would be muffled.

mounted mine under the passenger side seat, not to loud and peice of piss for access

got mine mounted up in the corner of the engine bay on passneger side

I would move the vacuum tank and fit it there, far left.
I was able to fit a vacuum tank over by the brake booster, Leaving enough room to fit the compressor and solenoids on the left, but mine was a 2.8

in my gq i had 2 arb's running fine under the drivers seat or in my gu (4.2) theres a nice spot close to the firewall on the passenger side that might just need a bracket made up to mount it off the wheel arch

I have fitted mine to the bracket with all the vacum gear.
