Hey guys pulled the pin on my coil setup (for now) so im after fitting ideas and what lift you need to make it work. Ive got an 89 WT sierra on 31x10s. 50mm BL, RUF and 45mm springs in the rear. Will this be enough to run them or will i have to go higher? If i need to cut guards then can someone run a newbie through it? Thanks

I also read on another build up and in an old mag last night that you can get Mazda 323 springs to fit the rear. It looked alot like sexy on wheels to me :D What model 323 am i looking for? and does it have to be a wagon?

i had 2" springs, 2" shackles and 2" body lift and my 33's that actually measured 33.8" still rubbed a tad and that was with the diff moved forward 30mm.

im pretty sure BLUESUZY off here and the zook forum was running these 323 springs for a while or still is now.send him a PM his was etremely low looking and on 33s.

Id keep what you have and play around with a guard hop or virtual lift as you said mate.but....whats wrong with your current setup?

Ta tell you the truth nuthing, my zook is very reliable and IMHO very capable. But im saving for a house and with the money i have left over i would like to drop it into my car, to have an acheivable goal, is happyness in my books. I can handle buying a cheap set of 33s and 323 springs. Thats why i get up in the mornings

fair enough thenmy zooks pretty similar to yours so i understand how fun they are and capable too.Just don't know about 33s but its your car.

Bluesuzy's seemed to flex well but was having spring problems, warping, bending etc so you might have to look into solving that??

Does your little zook have power steer mate?maybe something else to look into with the added tyre size

more hammer bashing than gaurd chopping. The tyres would rub on the firewall/footwell a bit before i moved the diff forward. I just sprayed it with black and bashed it werever it took the paint of. Make sure you whack the lips on the underside of the gaurds and on the firewall just as a precaution cause they can slice up your tyres pretty bad.

In the last comp i was in my tyres were the biggest on a zook and mine was the lowest out of about 10 zuks. I didnt have huge travel but my car was very stable. The others all had spring over or mega springs and body lift but hadnt done any work with the hammer to theres.
