Should I get extractors put in for my standard 1.3L engine?

Hi, I have a 97 zook. Someones probably asked this before in the past but I need some suggestions as to whether I should get extractors put onto my standard 1.3L engine.
How much more power should I be expecting if I get the extractors put in with the standard engine?
How much would it cost to get a GTI or 1.6L engine put in?
Also, sometimes when I go around round-abouts or corner hard my zook just suddenly looses all power! Is this a known issue? I was told apparently by an experienced mechanic that it's the carby & that when the zook gets on an angle the fuel level goes to one side & so that would be the reason why I lose total power. It happens probably 1-2x a week depending if I don't accelerate on curves.
Thanks in advance! I've been meaning to get onto the boards to ask.

Corners = carby or fuel pump.
extractors = yes. power gain sfa but with an exhaust can unleash at least a couple hp and more is better in a sierra (bout 2-300 for extractors and extra 200ish for exhaust)
gti/1.6 16v - 500-5000 depending on how much u can do urself and how much u get the engine for.
1.6 carb, dont bother i say unless 1.3 is farked or can get the 1.6 cheap.
easy conversion as it only needs a conversion kit (200) to fit it in. wiring same.

losing power on a fast corner with right foot can also be the zuk lifting the inside rear wheel on the corner - they do that =)

expect zero power but more noise with just extractors fitted.
U need a 2inch system + extractors for best results dont go bigger than 2"
extractors

ive priced exaust systems at a few places 2'' extractors and cant get much change out of 700. cheapest was 580 and they were gonna use the same cat. i personally think this is a bit much, just wanted to know what everyone else recons.

I grabbed extractors, highflow cat and a flexy/sectioned 2in system from Liverpool Exhausts... money well spent

Your little white Jimny has quite a sweet note. I heard it a few times at TTC.

i had a 97 coil sierra, had it pushed 90ks against the wind going up the coast on the free way, extractors fitted - 110ks in the same spot.
coil sierra extractors are worth every penny.

So Squik, extractors are the go on the M13A as well?!? Since I have gone to 34's I am laboring the engine a little more at higher speeds. I already have a 2inch ish exhaust.

Best thing you can do to any Jimny is extractors... the standard system is very tight. Make sure it's mandrel bent though...
Layton... yeah, a little too 'cranky' at times, sounds like I'm backing off in 1st Low at 110km/h

My mate and i fitted one of the weber kits off of ebay and a set of extractors + a 2 inch straight through exhaust and boy did it gain some power, id estimate it at about 15-20 horsepower. whole lot cost around 750 dollars.
but for an extra 1k on top of that ( roughly ) you can get a g13b installed, and with a power increase from 47kw-74 kw its a better bang for your buck. Especially with that 8k red line

Just got a set of extractors and 2 inch system (minus the cat) for 500 and i am very impressed. Gave me heaps more down low and also improved alot it at highway speed. Think it might need a cat though cause when i have the rear flap up, it gets very fumy inside, especially at low speeds through the bush. Think it needs a good tune though so i might try that 1st
