cranks but as if there is no compression fuel is being deliveried and have pulled timing cover off and timing marks correct but number one inlet valve seems to be half open.

it came about i wass flushing the cooling system out sitting idealing and then just stopped. exhurst fumes come through airbox when cranked

you flushed cooling system when idling... ?

just found the broken pin that holds the cam gear to the end of the cam causing the gear to turn 45 degres to the righ and holding valves open. couldnt work it out as all the settings where right just not the cam.

yes the correct way to flush a system with the heater on had a lot of old water that i wanted to flush, this didnt cause the problem just a couincidence
