oil probs

this is gonna sound sill but if i have low oile preassure or bad oil will that make my engine feel ilike its vibrating
i have vibration that i cant feel through steering but if i put me mk in nuetral or put foot on clutch and hold revs on engine its there take foot of acellerator peddle vibration goes away
but its not allways there
mk sd33t 5 speed
any ideas or suggestions

Maybe the crank thrust bearings?

Grab a lever & see if you can move the crank backwards & forwards a lot. If you can then this may be your problem. Have seen it before but mainly in crappy OHC Falcon engines.

Doesnt mean it cannot happen in others with lots of miles.

Have you played with it lately?

Any othe symptoms?

nope not played and no other symptoms but its not always there i was thinkin tires but its there when i rev engine and hold it in nuetral
although i havnt done that sitting still only rolling on highway

Mate its just not enough information to diagnose without seeing it, the best thing you can do is take it to a mechanic and get theyre opinion.

yeah i know its vague was hoping someone may have gone hey mine did that and it was xxxxxxx
the hardest part is it only does it everynow and then
some times it runs so smooth and then there is that vibration
awen it does vibrate i do notice that my oil preassure gauge is up very high compared to normal
thabks anyways guys will have to take it to mech like you said
