Front end squeaks

Post by Nev62 »

After driving for a km or 2, a frontend squeak starts to make itself known. Faster the 4b goes, the faster the squeak till around 40-50kmh when it stops. I'm guessing bearings but wanted to know if I can just repack them with grease or is it new bearing time?

since you were going to go to the trouble of pulling the bearings out any way you may aswell just replace them. theyre not very expensive and it saves you stuffing around pulling them out again when the finally pack in.
