I looked but can not find the width of a prado rear diff, Not the current model but the one before up to 2006ish I think. I guessing (and hoping) they are the same as a ifs lux rear. Wheel mounting surface to wheel mouting surface.
Thanks Rhett

prado diff width
Its a wheelbase thing
i think the lux they refer to in that thread is a leafy oneRemydog05 wrote:So by reading that thread would I be right in saying that Prado (53in) would be wider than lux diffs (48in) but narrower than 60's (58in)??
I thought they mabye closer to the Lux Width??
comparing brake back plate to brake back plate is useless
you have to compare face to face where the wheel bolts on
my last lux i put a surf rear (with coils) and a 79 front 80 series brakes (with coils)
they were exactly the same face to face measurement as IFS hilux
IFS hilux is a fair bit wider than leafy lux
that does not anwser your question but i am pretty sure the early prado (hilux based not bundy import style)is the same as ifs hiux. best way is to go to the wreckers with a measuring tape
