another flares question

Post by cooter »

im about to buy a set of flares but the problem is that my rear gaurds are already chopped to level with the iner guard an im thinking that i will have to modify my wheel arches to fit the flares

im lookin at the lra flares so if any body that has them fitted has a closeup photo of the amount of chop required that would be awesome

im still trying the search function but with no luck as yet
cheers allan

I drowned a phone that had about 20 shots of the guard chop job just yesterday. :bad-words:
I have the lra flares on my 97 disco.
They (LRA) have two types n will tell you the cheaper type won't clear 35's but they certainly do.
I'm not able to send you pix, but you can have a look at mine if you like.
I still have the rear quarter intact.

Is the offer of inspecting the LRA flares open to anybody :) ? I live in Newy and am considering a set of flares for my 4dr tdi Disco as well. I am lead to believe that the Paddock spares rubber ones from the UK are the ones to get, but they are a fair bit more exxy.

Could you shoot me a PM luv4been?

Sorry for interrupting your message Cooter

Cheers
