Hey guys, i have been reading the forums about the advantages of front sway bar disconnects for my pajero, just wanted to find out where i can get one from or weather it is easier to just unbolt the front swaybar when i go offroad, or make a custom bolt with say a pin in it like the jeep ones to make disconnect easier? Any thoughts?

there are some after market kits, I am not sure if they could work with the front sway bar at the pajero, as this is located under the front shield.
If you think about a custom build, this is not so complicated, you have to fabricate a hollow cylinder with inner diameter same as the diameter of your front sway bar, and a thickness of approx 8 mm.
Than you cut the sway bar in two, and connect the two parts trough this cylinder. One side has to be fixed, the other has to be able to be disconnected. This can be done either mechanic (you put a bolt trough) or controllable from a control unit and you could copy the control unit from an existing model.
Once you do this, you have to be very sure that when you re-engage the sway-bar you have to be on a perfect flat, non tilted terrain.

can u not just swap the bolt that liks the bar to the car for a pin that u could knock out when needed? or is it to hard to get to when out and about?
