1990 Isuzu parts interpreter list wanted

Hi guys!
A little intro before I go picking your brains- my name is Melissa, Im 27 and love doing boyish things myself. My hubby and I have a 1991 2.8 litre turbo diesel Isuzu mu in very bad condition as it cracked it, we got a new car and it has been sitting for 3 years awaiting the money needed to fix her. So thanks to K Rudds bonus we are in the process of getting the old girl moving and need some parts. As we live in Darwin it makes it even harder to get parts, the last time we got parts shipped from NZ which was bloody ridic ulous.
Soooooooo
Im making a list of what is the same from our car to what we can get locally off Rodeos or Jackaroos etc. So far Ive read that :
the engine number is a 4jb1 which is the same as a rodeo engine but has a timing belt instead of a chain
It looks very similar to a SWB (what does SWB stand for?) Frontera so we could possibly get cosmetic pieces off those.
The chassie, brakes and bearings are all the same as a SWB Jackaroo.
Steering box seal kit is a rodeo kit
Can get timing belts at Auto 1
Is this all correct? What else can I add to my list?
The first thing we need to get is some Salve and master cylinder for the clutch- which Holden vehicle are these parts likely to come from?
Thanks in advance for your help guys!
