Hey guys,
Got a 93 petrol rodeo, has a bit of problem, when u put the foot down feels like it has a restrection, allmost like flooding I guess, give a bit of a splutter, but realy has something holding it back. A mechanic drove it and said it seems like an air leak after the air flow meter.

Anyone got anyideas?

Cheers

first thing i would do,is change the fuel filter.you would have to have a fairly noticeable hole for air senser to choke, and then it usually wont run past idle speed.

simply remove the air meter section from the intake tube and spray with carby cleaner or brakeclean. Dry off with compressed air. Don't break the wire.
