does anyone know of a dealer for warn who sells the hs9500 winch, interested in one, went to local arb shop and they said arb dont supply this particular winch, and that i may have to go through ateco?

while on the subject has anyone tried one of these, and how would you guys rate it against the 9.5xp??, i like its no load speed quite close to a high mount.

I'm an ARB stockist,i will find out for you what the deal is and if i can get them in.
If i can't get it through ARB then i could chase it through another one of my suppliers.

Some may think Brawn is a dirty winch word but take a good look...apart from the obvious cost savings (they are hundreds cheaper)...and water, corrosion and rust proofed, actually guaranteed to work under water! I regularly compete and have been hammering 4wheelers every other weekend for over 18 years...had a Thomas...it pulled a bit slow, but pulled forever, needed rebuilding every 6 months...had a warn, reasonable speed, no guts and needed rebuilding every 2-3 months...now have a Brawn, in two years have never rebuilt it, line speed is reasonable and have never been able to stall it (tried pulling a stump once...couldn't get the stump out but the winch dragged my set up 40 and the wife's set up 80, chained together, along the concrete driveway, in gear with handbrakes on). They are a little noisy but are amazingly efficient...pulled an 80 series 7 straight consecutive 30 metre pulls up a slimey slope (I'd drive up each time) and the gearbox was hotter than the motor.

I'm sure I've seen HS9500 at ARB's moorebank showroom.

I have one on my 80, personally I think it's pretty Grimace but years of PTO performance will make you think that about any winch. If you HAVE TO have an electric winch and it HAS TO be a low mount then it's hard to go past. if you have room for an 8274 high mount then forget about any low mount winch, none of them come close to the performance of the high mount.
