My alternator is packing up and i think its the reg.

Rang around for a new reg and i could only find 1 through repco and they wanted $340 just for the reg!!!!!!

Went to my local auto place and they couldnt get me a reg but could get a new alternator for $270. Might as well get a new one for that price.

Anyone know where to get a reg for one???? Also is $270 a good price?

HI, just convert it run an ford ea-el alt, it should only cost you about $80-$100 for the alt then make up a bracket to suit, the wiring diagram is on here in the auto electrical section, if you cant find it let me know as i have saved it and i will email it to you, heaps cheaper.
