slow glow plugs on 92 lux ln106

the glow plugs are realy slow on my lux when its cold
should i replace them or is it some thing else

hey mate i would be checking them.
to do this remove the conection between each glow plug. then use a cable running from the positive battery terminal and touch the tip of each one.
you should get a little spark on every glow plug, if not then there is a faulty one

Or you can grab a multimeter, remove the bridging strip, set your multimeter to measure resistance (ohms) and check for open circuits between the "positive" on the plug and the engine block which would indicate a burnt out glow plug.

Have a look over at www.toyotasurf.asn.au as there should be a prodecure there for checking the rest of the system as the glow plugs may not be the cause.
