cheap gauges

im looking into getting an oil temp gauge. but first i just want to see what the oil runs out and then i will decide if i want to get a gauge. so i was just looking on ebay and found a cheap oil temp gauge. what do you think just for a tempree setup?

should be fine, isnt the most accurate brand of gauges in the world but i have 3 from that store, and they are good enough for me

the smoke series are ok for cheapies. not sure about the oil one, the biggest thing will be the sensor and how to fit it.
they look a bit werid and the change in back lighting when you have your lights on i still have to work on. as standard it doesn't change brightness much.

its only going be in for a few weeks or whatever.

my plan was to drop the sump (may be leaking on the gasket too) and silversolder a the approprient brass socket on the bottom of the sump or on the upper bit of the sump
