HI there looks like I'm venturing into the world of yet another GQ patrol.

What i have in mind is:

35's and diff gears
F&R Air Lockers
3 inch lift
And a Strait gas turbo set up later down the track.

After bein a previous gq owner i am aware of some teething issues with modifying patrols. So hear are some of my questions.

Can you fit 35's with a 3 inch lift and no body lift and not scrub (with out doing guard work)?

I want the clearance of 35's with out the hieght of a heavily lifted patrol with out affecting flex or limiting suspension travel.

I know a mate's GQ runs 35 claws, and he only has 2" spring lift and a 2"body lift

I think you might have to do a small body lift and or cut you're guards.

I have the same, also running 16mm extended lower trailing arms, and I need to chop my quarters and/or cut my guards to clear my 35x12.5x15 cooper st's.

OK Thanks for the help.

Here's what i'm thinkin of trying.

install radius arm spacers up front and HD control arms at the rear.

I'm hoping this will at least clear the front.
If it still scrubs i'll look at doin some guard work. (don't like cutting) More like re-shaping and widening so i can keep my plastic inner guard and flares

As for the rear if i get +15mm control arms I'm hoping it will clear the front of the wheel arch and if it hits the rear i will look into a quater chop.

Now every time i ask a question sum1 always tells me to use the search.
I can't make any sense outta that thing. am i doin it wrong.

As for the quater chop Is there a rear bar being made for this? And what is the best way to do it. PICS

Where is the best place to get up-graded CV's From

One more question. i ran 35's on my last patrol and never had a prob.
My mate always had probs with wheel bearing's. Is there a fix for this. I have been told you can use GU parts to eliminate this prob. Can sum1 give me more info.

Oh and another. If i get the dropped radius arms will i still need the spacers

I baught radious arm spacers from the nut & bolt place, there 18mm,& have also have 2 locking allenkey grub screws, I just took down one of the rubbers & asked if they had any washers big enough to pack out the front end, & he came back with these,, there absalutly perfect & only $5 each
I dont know how to add pics to this but I can email or send by phone if you like.

Go any larger than 12mm for radius arm spacers, and the nut at the chassis end will not fully engage.

You really need to search, it has been discussed many time, you could evan try looking for the thread that has nissan part numbers in it, may possibly have exactly what you are looking for.

I think he may be talking about using GU lock nuts on the wheel bearings....

They are much easier to adjust and don't come undone as easily.

You will need -

2 x lock nuts
2 x lock washers
4 x locking screws
