i have just got a au ticford v8 i was hoping to put it in my hilux but no one does a tranfer adapter

i was wondering what peoples thoughts are or if any one had put one in a hilux

1 thing i was thinking of was to combine the ford and hilux bell housings buy chopping the bottom of both bellhousing and then get the hilux one welded to the ford housing

or some how making an adapter to bolt the hilux gearbox up to the motor any ideas or thoughts would be great

I SERIOUSLY doubt that the Hilux transmission or transfer case would hold up to the torque of the TicKford. Look at the transmission that comes with the engine and a divorced transfer case (MQ, Atlas, some of the NP series, etc)

im sure that someone makes an adaptor for these autos to GQ transfer.
if im wrong( more than likely) what about adapted to the biger hilux box or later land cruiser or gq manual box Gq box canh be had quite cheap and will handle a winsor v8 no dramas

an AU v8 should still be the normal Windsor bellhousing, therefore you can use a C4 tranny, which there are adaptors for.
and that way you aren't trying to adapt the electronic box
